Any Cosplayers here?
In the interest of sparking conversation, does anyone here do Cosplay? I've always liked to go overboard with costumes, but this year's Youmacon was my first time cosplaying at a convention. (And a thank you to Seath and his friends for that)
Edit: I was cosplaying a Metal Bending Officer from the Legend of Korra

Re: Any Cosplayers here?
Sort-of-cosplay, but I get really into dressing up for the Halloween party I go to every year.
I've done Harry Dresden, Indiana Jones, and this year I was Johnny Cash.
I was Dipper one year. We don't talk about that year.

Any good Dresden cosplayer knows he doesn't wear a hat in the books! And I just found the Indy hat at my grandpa's sister's house a few years ago and built a costume around it.

Re: Any Cosplayers here?
I always thought it would be neat to cosplay, but it's a lot of work for a suit that you won't wear much of.
So, I set my sights lower. With 3D printing and a little bit of know-how, I plan to eventually build a custom stock for a Remington 10/22 to make it look like a Covenant Carbine.
One of these days, people. One of these days.

Re: Any Cosplayers here?
If the others are down, I'm down. (note to self, step up exercise regimen how many sit-ups did "S" do again?) Which one should I be?
I want to get this done by March. All of the clothes except maybe the shirt will be custom, I'll have to learn how to make wigs, stage facial hair and prop horns/antlers, and get some dental wax (or at least non-toxic wax) for the tooth. Don't know what to do about the eyes though, contacts are out of my budget. If I get really tricky, I might store some props in the pockets: a twicane, various items from the maze, sunflower seeds of chaos, ect...
