Hearthstone

So I know I'm a little late posting this, but the virtual card game known as Hearthstone has finally been released and taken out of beta.



It is a virtual card game that is based on the World of Warcraft lore, but you don't need to any of it to play the game. The cards have funny flavor texts that you can read and if you played WoW you would get some the references the cards make to the lore. As you play more of the game you accumulate gold which you can use in a few ways, either to get packs or to play in Arena mode (draft style, make a deck out of random cards to earn more cards, gold etc) and more are said to be on the way.

The game is also free to play, but you can spend money to buy more packs if you wish.

I personally think the game is really enjoyable and have been having a blast playing it. So if you're interested in starting or have it already you can send me a FR and we can play sometime .

Thought this would be interesting for you guys, I guess not lol.

I played a bit of it, but it didn't really catch my interest that much. Don't think I'm the right audience for it though, as I'm not a big fan of trading card games.

Yah I can understand that. Nice that you gave it a try though.

It's pretty awesome.


Although it seems like I only play to get enough gold to do the arena.

Then when I lose I just stop until my quests refill the next day.
