Let's hope that we're just pending renewal and hasn't finished processing yet. I like our domain, and would have for some domain squatter to nab it up.

It's set to be renewed currently.

So they aren't giving us a free ride anymore and are apparently asking for us to pay rent now.

Their is a donations page at the bottom of the screen that says "Contributions" if anyone ever wants to throw a few bucks our way through PayPal.

Costs $19.09 to renew. I covered it this time since usually they just let us do it for free.

Also if I get like 10 bucks I can disable ads for 1 year. I have an adblocker so I don't see any but could be useful for those of you who don't use one and see ads I guess.

So if you aren't using adblock, you donate to those sites right? All that free content you're consuming and you refuse to support then by using adblock is a dick move. Yes ads can be annoying, but the majority are easily ignored and preferable to having to pay to use all these things, or having them go away due to lack of funding because you're too damn impatient to wait 15 seconds for that ad to finish.

Personally, I pause ad-block on any site that is supported by ads and doesn't do stupid pop-ups, pop-behinds, video-ads ect.

nope, I dont donate a single penny to any of those sites, I DO have ads allowed on a couple of them, but I am not going to sit through a 30 second ad to watch a 20 second video on youtube.


most websites covered in ads are just sites re-posting content from other places anyways. I have ads allowed on Cracked, Hulu, and Rooster Teeth (although They stopped having ads a while ago), everybody else, nope.

also, any website that allows a banner ad that makes noise loses me ever supporting them with ads.

This is pretty much how I feel.

I allow ads on sites I like and sites that I know are ad-supported. Youtube, though? They don't need more money.

Youtube ad money doesn't go to Youtube, Well maybe a fraction but most of the money goes to the Youtube Director through a Sponsorship contract. If you watch one person consistently with Addblock your not denying youtube money, your denying the person who makes the videos money.
