Gears of War: Judgement

So this is coming out in like a week.

I know basically jack shit about it except for that one Game Informer article. Honestly not going to get it unless it is somehow ungodly good.

Thoughts?

Im getting it cause I love Gears of War

Gears of War just never stuck with me. I played through the first and second a long time ago... and I played about half of the third... and the new hoard mode was pretty fun... but I just couldn't keep interest.

After 3 I was pretty much done.

I really don't have any desire to hear the thrilling back-story to Baird and Cole.

Yeah, it's pretty much a $60 expansion pack.* Four Multiplayer maps, and someone apparently got a copy of the game and beat it in four hours.

Oh wait, it has class based mutli-player with specific classes and everything!

Because that idea hasn't been dead since 2007.

Oh and a segment that takes place during the events of gears 3! So now you know what Baird and Cole were doing when Marcus was trying to find his dad!

It's a shame as I don't hate Gears or People can Fly. I just wish they made Bulletstorm 2 rather than this.

Yeah, Gears 3 was a good note to end on. Instead they're carrying it forward like some zombie with a tumor.

This game is essentially a filler game to bide the time between now and the next consoles coming out so they can put Gears 4 on the 720.

Gears of War is pretty terrible.
