Maia
All ye with disposable cash, go and throw some money at this.
It's an indie God-Game that harkens back to Black & White, and the setting is influenced by 1970's-era science fiction. Just go look at that page, read through the description and the updates, and tell me that it doesn't sound interesting.

Pretty sure it's more Dungeon keeper than black and white.

Re: Maia
I saw TB's video on this. I'll consider it later as it's already reached it's pledge goal, still looks a little rough, and basic at this stage.
TB compared it to Theme Hospital, if it's anything like that, count me in.

I agree, it look like a God game, but in the way that Sim-(insert endeavor here) and closer to Evil Genius than Black & White. That said, God games are my favorite genre so I was intrigued. Then I saw the demonstrator placing variably colored lights in the Simulation and AI test, and I'm hooked
Too bad the lower-tier funding options are already sold out

It looks like that pause frame at the start of the video is Reach's main menu...

I'll say this, it is quite efficient at preventing blasphemy. Watch as I try.
"Down with Lord Pheonix." "Lord Pheonix is merely the imaginary friend of idiots" "F()ck Lord Pheonix"
See, doesn't work

Re: Maia
The God game is a go. Donations have closed at Kickstarter, but you can still donate at IndieGoGo.
We still have a shot at a full robot construction feature, but Telluric variation is out until after the full game is released. Hopefully, it'll be free, but I guess we'll have to wait and find out.
