BF 3: PC or Xbox?

So I make a poll to decide if I should get BF 3 for PC or Xbox.

PC has up to 64 players, I'd much rather play that but I'll settle for 24 on the console.

If you can run it on PC it'll be beautiful, but 360 is good to if you don't mind less people to fight with and being called a fag constantly.

4 people going with PC and none for Xbox? It's decided then.

Well I think Rock and Onyx are getting it for the Xbox, so I'll get it for that so I can play with them.

Yes I am getting it for the Xbox but that's because I don't have a PC to play it on. Smaller player sizes don't make a lick of difference to me, nor does a little less graphical power. BC2 felt just big in scale enough with those maps and player sizes so I'm not worried one bit about that.

But yeah, it's all up to you man, you get it on whatever platform you want. Don't let anyone try and convince you otherwise. Your $ your choice.

PC has moar people, better graphics and mods.
However, when it comes to FPS', I'll forever prefer sitting in a room with friends and playing. So console ftw.

Smaller teams is one thing, but doesn't xbox have 8v8 while PC would be 16v16?

Its 12v12 on console, 32v32 on PC. DICE is retarded though, so consoles get a server browser while PC players have to exit the game to change servers for mp.

Getting it on Xbox, why? becuase i looked at the specs, and im not upgrading my computer for the 3rd time this year.

PC 64 person MP? Hell yes.
Playing at 30fps on all low settings? Hell no.
360 wins.

PC has better graphics, but if you're playing for graphics your playing for the wrong reason and I would direct you to Crysis and photorealism mods. 32 v 32 sounds nice, but more players doesn't necessarily mean better gameplay.

Xbox has slightly worse graphics, which seems to mostly be smoke and lighting effects and slightly worse textures. It's cheaper and for all the money you would need to upgrade or build a computer to experience a slightly better looking game, you could buy multiple new games coming out in that season.

Also, the open beta should be coming in the next few weeks. Download it for both and see which you like more.

People who already have good computers ought to take advantage of them though. (I don't)

While I see your point, I personally just prefer my games to look good. And by good, I mean at least somewhat like what the commercials/trailer portrays its graphics as. My general rule of thumb for PC gaming: If I cant run it on at least High, then it aint worth it.

So yes, Xbox does get my vote for this title. Reason I got hard over 64 person MP is that I FUCKING HATE having to look for a fight in an online game. And from what I hear, the BF3 maps are going to be massive (since fighter jets are in and all). Nonetheless I will cope.
