I Just Nostalgia'd So Hard...
This is a thread to post the things that make you very, very nostalgiac.
To kick the thread off, I give you the C&C Tiberian Dawn Intro Vid!.
I feel that besides the feelings of nostalgia, the intro actually suits the game well. It sets up the setting and background to the entire conflict, which began with the introduction of a mysterious mineral and lifeform, Tiberium, to the earth. The Brotherhood of Nod, a large psuedo-religious organization has formed to collect and harness the resource to further the agenda of their leader Kane, while the Global Defense Initiative, a special operations branch under the UN, responds to stop them.
Unlike later titles in the series, GDI and Nod are NOT massive and powerful organizations. Most of the game has the two factions fighting largely in the shadows, in smaller actions to take out strongholds(the bases) and engaging in covert actions. Outside of direct military confrontation, they are also engaged in 'wars' of other sorts, within the political world, as well as between corporations and media organizations, as each faction has control and influence in those areas.
Ultimately, GDI prevails and ends the Nod threat. However, in the wake of this victory, the UN and the rest of the world find themselves with an uncontrollable threat: Tiberium. Over the course of the next thirty to fourty years, Tiberium would continue to ravage the planet, making most of it uninhabitable, and leading to new conflicts as Nod begins its ascension once more.

My eyes didn't even water. OF course that is probably because I never played the game.

Re: I Just Nostalgia'd So Hard...
Didn't Paragon (or the other mod whose name escapes me) say that they still have that demo lying around?
I'm not sure if they have it anymore since the move to the new studio, but just food for thought.

I request that a mod move this to General Discussion section as a large portion of the content in the thread does not pertain to video games.

I loved (and still do) this game.
This was my only computer game I've owned and it made my lack of internet bearable as a kid.

It didn't really help how they basically covered almost every level with lava or at least 3 or 4 small boss fights.

Cheats help a lot
I've pretty much seen all the levels now. Human is probably the easiest to play legit.

Dear God, that Jurassic Park game was amazing. My friend had it, so I only got to play it every once in a while. Never really got very far in it.
