Oops Classified information breach.
Taken from the MLG forums User Clean_Janitor:
"Sharing a pizza with a former high ranking security specialist an Air-Force base. Also stationed their are civilian scientists granted a military rank.
This thread is about what he told me over the 45 minute lunch.
You can believe what you want, Nothing far fetched.
What he told me is what he picked up from the scientists he became good friends with.
He said during the 50's and 60's the government tested the effects of radiation on death row inmates to the extreme, like locking them into a room with volatile amounts for long periods of time and analyzing the data.
He also said that Neil Armstrong and crew weren't the first to land on the moon, just the first to come back.
He said the government is working on a "Gatorade" like substance with 20x the potency, super nutritious freeze dried food, and spider silk alloy trooper armor.
There is indeed a military procedure if a "Zombie" outbreak occurs. He was allowed to view a prototypical document called "massive infection fueled civilian rebellion- containment procedures".
The outline of the procedure is essentially: Pull all military forces out of international territory, Quarantine major cities with heavy weapons, and build sanctions in the midwest/central part of the U.S., they believe the coasts will be hit first.
He also mentioned there is an identical procedure for intelligent extra terrestrials.
Also, everything about E.T.'s was supposedly spoken about in Present Tense, like they already made contact.
Laser weaponry is apparently out of development until they can find an efficient power source. This excludes laser guides missiles etc.
2012 is essentially all media hype, the government has made no strides to do anything about it.
Robotic weaponry and robotics in general has taken a huge leap, suits that can help lift heavy objects, combat mechs etc.
MIB's (The roswell secret agents) do exist but not to that extreme and they are used to cover up and bury leaks in information.
The government is hoarding water, massive amounts that nobody can even fathom.
Pending a direct nuclear attack on the U.S., there is a good chance there will be a mandatory draft, they are considering women as well.
In the case of a global catastrophe, like a giant asteroid hitting earth, a lottery would be put in place varying from intelligence to money donations.
Area 51 is essentially a decoy, most of the above experiments take place in smaller, lesser known locations.
Again, this is just what he picked up from conversation with the other civilian doctors and scientists, word of mouth, believe what you want."
OMG

Re: Oops Classified information breach.
Also: anything as highly classified as some of the things on there would not be discussed in a "cafeteria"
Ever
Ever
and no one base would have access to that much information at what time
Also: A "Security Specialist"? That's the guy that's stands by the door and gets killed first. The fuck he knows all those things from all his years of standing still and not doing a fucking thing.

Re: Oops Classified information breach.
Well it's not really highly classified, if it were it wouldn't be here in the first place. It's more in the line of "secret" category. Kinda like the 90,000 pages of leaked information about the war.

Re: Oops Classified information breach.
Meh. Classified doesn't automatically mean "nobody's talking about it." We've had some pretty embarrassing security leaks in the past. As for this guy being a security specialist, that could mean anything from the guy at the door with the gun to a Blackwater (sorry, make that Xe LLC) merc to the guy in charge of the perimeter.
-Area 51: Nothing new. It's a bit of a running joke now that Area 51 is "for the tourists" and all the secret alien stuff was hauled off a long time ago.
-Niel Armstrong being the "First to come back" dates back to a rumor about the Soviet program, that there was one astronaut before Yuri Gregarin. But when his life support gave out, he wasn't loyal enough to hold his breath, so Zip! from the books of history.
It's highly unlikely, given how publicized the first moon launch was, and how easy it is to call up NASA's budget from back then. Anyhow, while the space program is fairly obscure NOW, back then, it was the bee's knees. EVERYBODY was following it.
-I can disprove the BS about the Laser Weaponry by saying, in short, "Advanced Tactical Laser".
-There will never be any such thing as a combat mech. Ever.
-It was a weather balloon, people. There was nothing to classify. Get over it.
I really don't have a problem with women in the Armed Forces, but I'd prefer it to be voluntary.

If they call you up for the draft show up in short booty shorts and a shirt rolled up to show midriff.
You'll stay home.

I don't see how being in a nuclear war could be bad, too. You're either being a badass soldier or dying in a badass explosion.

That's what I meant. I don't care if we're being invaded. I don't care if we're being nuked. Women should not be forced to serve in the military. Admittedly, I don't like them being in the armed forces at all... but drafting them would be awful.
