Video Game Sins

1. Taking five months to beat Halo 1 when I was seven, flood scared the hell out of me. Eventually I just put that level on easy and ran through it all spraying my assault rifle and shotgun. Same thing on the library, after a while I got used to the flood.

2.Buying gears 2 from a friend for 10 bucks then giving it back to him for free (Not really a sin but it shows how much that game sucks ass.)

3.Letting my cat step on my favorite console RTS disc and break it. I had gotten that game for my seventh birthday If i didn't have it propped up on the side of my wall that fat ass cat would never have broke it.

4.Never beating ME1 but playing the hell out of the sequel.

5.Never beating Star craft.

Using cheats to beat the Starcraft campaign.
It was either that or hang myself, there were just TOO many fuckers on those last levels..

RX your not alone there, though I beat the last level for the protoss by-myself on the first set of campaigns, along with beating the Terran campaign without cheats ^^

I really struggled with the Zerg

The only one where it's absolutely necessary is in the second to last Zerg level on Brood War, where you have to storm a Protoss base in thirty minutes, twenty-five if you want to unlock the secret level.

The absolute last one... I couldn't bring myself to cheat on it. I just abused the save/reload system.

Putting my Super Smash Bros. Mele game disk inside of an empty VCR cassette case to hide it from people who'd want to play it and thus, damage it (they were little kids). Ironically enough, the disk left the cassette case with a shit ton of scratches, rendering it unplayable


I never played the game since.

Never beating the first Fable.

Never beating Breakdown.

Loving the game Blood Wake to death.

Oh God. I spent about 50 hours on Civ 4 in the last two weeks. 5 looks great. Favourite game in fact.. Closely followed by Medieval Total War 2 -although I wish the AI were a little smarter. Also TBS need some kind of time slowing device so you don't waste your entire life on them.

More sins: I've never attempted to play more than 30 minutes of Rome:TW. I got to the last dungeon in Zelda: a Link to the Past (my favourite childhood game) and stopped playing. My XBox has been RRODed for about four months and I just cba fixing it.

But every Madden since 2003! Damn!

I wish I could find my play disk for Civ 4. I really miss playing that game. Any game that lets you have Romans fight Mongols for world domination using nukes has to be amazing.

Never beat Ace Combat 5s last mission with the camera

I played less than 2 hours of Halo 2 online.

I hate Oblivion.

I never really cared for Fable, it was simple and I hated the gameplay.

I don't care for video game classics at all.

I still think Rome Total War is the best game of the series.

Even though I like Mass Effect, it bored the fuck out of me.

I got to the Wookie homeworld in KOTOR and then quit, because I couldn't be bothered fighting all those weird animal things.

Republic Commando was far better than KOTOR in my opinion.

Lord of the Rings Online is better than World of Warcraft any day of the year.

One of my favourite RTS games is Battle for Middle Earth 2.

I havent seen over 5 minutes of gameplay for Mass Effect or Mass Effect 2 combined

She's cool, she's just distant and mean most of the time.

Bought the Starcraft Battlechest for my desktop, which was no longer hooked up to the internet...

Played for only three levels...

Got a new laptop and still haven't installed it. I've never played it online and have no intentions of playing all the way though the campaign.

However... in a vain attempt to redeem myself, I will get SC2, beat the campaign, and play at least a few games online.
