My brother already killed it with chemicals, and then when it was on the ground, I made sure with a shoe.
It's in a million pieces on the floor right now. We would've finished it off with fire, but then it would've burned our house down.

Actually, I looked at the remains, and I think the combination of Raid (for ants and cockroaches) and WD-40 broke it down chemically. What was, moments before, assorted bits of bug are now nothing more than bits of black substance. Considering the centipede was natural greenish yellow, this is slightly disturbing.

I'm serious, that stuff kills wasps like nobody's business. The other day, there was a horsefly in the shop, and I winged it with a short blast. It fell out of the air, landed in a box, and then took off. Two seconds later, it fell out of the air and hit the ground with a loud THUNK!

It wasn't moving when I got there.

When I was but a wee lad, I used to take crane flies and mosquitos by the wing and throw them into a spiders web. Just to watch the spider attack them. :twisted:

When I was a kid I would take June bugs and impale them on my rose bush XD I also drowned them, burned them with a lighter, ripped of their legs and smashed them to pieces. The funnest was rip off half their legs and burn them with the lighter, it was great to watch them squirm

I don't torture, or maim anything, really, I'm just scared to death of bugs, particularly large ones.

Once, my cousins and I performed an experiment with rolly-polys. We gathered 3 of them, and dropped them in an 8 foot deep pool. The first one dropped halfway and then grabbed onto the wall and climbed back up to the surface. The second dropped and died. The third went all the way to the bottom and came back up. Just shows their determination.

I love Roly-polys! But some other bugs are pests and need to be exterminated...
