Sorry Tyler, I would've made one but these people don't much appreciate Mario and Nintendo as much as you and I.

Somewhat fix'd.YouCurse wrote:I'm sincerely sorry that some people actually have good taste in games.
But please, PLEASE enlighten me as to why this game is not good. And if you haven't played Super Mario Galaxy, I suggest you pour yourself a nice glass of Shut The Fuck Up. Is it because it's not on the 360 or PS3? I'm not exactly sure why people are so fucking obsessed over brand names. Who gives a shit if the game is made by Microsoft, Sony, or Nintendo? As long as the game is great, why does that matter?
I seriously want to know why you think this will not be an incredible game. I can understand if you were just like "Eh, not my cup of tea. I don't like platformers, but if you do, I'm sure it's great!" That's fine. You don't have to like the game, but you can't say it isn't a great game, or insult my taste in games.

Re: Super Mario Galaxy 2
I've never been a massive nintendo fan.
Super Mario Galaxy passed me by as will the sequel.
It's not because it's a bad game, far from it, it's just not something I have a real interest in.
Very good music I must add.

Of course I have played it, I finish the game in pretty much one weekend.TYFIGHTER wrote:But please, PLEASE enlighten me as to why this game is not good. And if you haven't played Super Mario Galaxy, I suggest you pour yourself a nice glass of Shut The Fuck Up.
I don't care either. I like some of Nintendo's games, like Post-NES Legend of Zelda games. I liked Super Mario Bros 3 aswell.TYFIGHTER wrote:Is it because it's not on the 360 or PS3? It was boring, short, repetitive, nothing special, blah blah blah...TYFIGHTER wrote:I seriously want to know why you think this will not be an incredible game. Spyro 3 was a better all round game than SMG.
I'm as bored of this agreement as I am of "360vPS3"

Re: Super Mario Galaxy 2
Ok, I seriously doubt that. SMG is really long, unless you played it non-stop, which would have meant you liked it.YouCurse wrote:Of course I have played it, I finish the game in pretty much one weekend.
It has become very clear that you didn't play the game. Super Mario Galaxy is one of the most varied games I've ever played, it's quite long (especially if you get all 120 stars), and the level design is the best I've ever seen in a game. Quit trolling, you haven't played the game. You just want to bash it because it's Mario.YouCurse wrote:It was boring, short, repetitive, nothing special, blah blah blah...

(I agree Spyro was amazing, but nowhere near Galaxy)
Anyways, I don't care if you guys don't like it because you just aren't into them. That's fine. But don't be a tool and say they are bad games. ^^^
One question though, how is it possible to play games your whole life and not grow up with and love Nintendo? Nintendo was a major part of my childhood. Some of my most fond memories are of playing Nintendo games. Unless you guys are younger than I am... but I'm 17 so I doubt it.

I don't really care for the new Marios...I prefer the old, side-scrolling ones

Meh. I picked it up once, pretty fun.
I also managed to beat the level that my friends were struggling with for an hour in one go.

Re: Super Mario Galaxy 2
I apparantly had an Atari 2600 and a SNES back in the day, though I honestly on't remember them.
I've tried a few Zeldas and a Metroid, and haven't finished them. I really should, but it does drag sometimes as you have to backtrack a lot with new abilities.

I used to play on my GameBoy consistently as a child. But I was mostly into my Playstation. Nintendo did play a part on my early life.YouCurse wrote:One question though, how is it possible to play games your whole life and not grow up with and love Nintendo?
