Re: why i love wikipedia :D
For weather Fahrenheit is superior.
If it's 95 degrees out it's rather hot which equates to 35 Celsius.
110 is a big difference when you step outside compared to 95 and we can appreciate the difference because of the number. In Celsius it's 43.3333. Not a lot of room to appreciate with about 8 points of difference compared to 15.
For science metric is better for counting space and what not.

For weather I prefer Celsius because its what I'm used to, and having 0°C mean snow makes more sense then 32°f to me.
Also, 0 means put a coat on, 10 means wear pants and something with long sleeves, 20 is room temperature, 30 is a warm summer day, and 40 is too damn hot.

Exactly! There is a 40 point difference between wearing a coat in winter and it being "to damn hot"
20 point difference between room temp and "to damn hot"
We have a scale from 0-100 for our shit. When someone says what the temperature is outside you know EXACTLY what it is out there.

I have just discovered that I like feet over meters (metres for you strange British) in algebra. It makes calculating some equations easier.

I don't feel like getting out my notes, but basically for this one thing we either use -16 or -4.9 (the latter being if the unit is in meters). So, naturally, I like using feet more in this one particular circumstance.
On any other math occasion I'd pick metric.
