my wallet currently contains 28 dollars in $2 bills

they have been in there at least 5 years... used to have $40 in 2's all collected from my old job at the ice-cream store

Being British I can confirm we don't say it like that.

We do call it a garden instead of a lawn though.

And pavement instead of sidewalk.

unfortunately job hunting is hard in this industry precisely because of that

cause so many talent less people are applying for the same jobs, so basically anyone without concrete background experience is looked down upon as if they've already failed critical job tasks?

well, the big problem is talentless hacks being successful bu low balling contracts. which is why a lot of advertisement animation is now shit, while if you look back 10 years that market, which still limited, was still GOOD animation work.

if you are good there are jobs, and successful companies dont hire the bad people. But contract companies expect cheaper work faster, lowering quality.


some of us dont care about money (although feature animation jobs pay upwards of 80k a year) and really only care about doing good work, so that is a bad for me... the company I work for now is asking for super limited crappy animation and it sucks, because none of it will be able to go in my demoreel.

That why Jurassic Park looks better than any other shit made in the last 20 years?
