The similarities between said commercials are too great to ignore, they are already similar companies. Both having mass popularity and followers, I wouldn't be suprised if Z-Day came early.

well look at the bright side. Unlike RE we have animal testing and the FDA (yes the FDA has to approve it or at least i think so considering its an "Injection") and i doubt the FDA will approve a zombie drug. they leave thay kinda stuff for area 51 and whatnot.

However, in Resident Evil the viral agent wasn't tested for anything, it was first released in the hive facility, then escaped to the surface.

If a company did happen to create a zombieesque virus, before the FDA regulates it a freak accident could happen that would spiral out of control. Similar to what happened in biohazard (Resident Evil).

We are dealing with american companies here. Nothing is original. They definatly stole the idea.

The actual product didn't cause the outbreak, it just used part of the T-Virus to regenerate the skin cells. It is a non-canon thing by the way..

The thing that caused the outbreak was the pure concentration of the T-virus. They managed to make medical products that work with the T-virus, but the actual virus itself in high concentrations is the real danger.
