Re: Transformers: War For Cybertron
The game is pretty fun, or, the demo rather. Favorite class being scout, for cloak .
Transforming is very fluid, which I had thought would actually be bad originally. Controls were easy to grasp. Fast paced games... not much to say really. It's a pretty decent game. I probably won't have money to get it though.

Re: Transformers: War For Cybertron
I bought it yesterday (they actually had it at our PX on day one, wtf?)
only played the first 2 levels in each campaign thus far. It's some fun shit. Was annoyed how often falling off things killed me compared to actual enemies..

I'm playing the demo. It's awesome. Might get the game.

Well, glad to see that the people who are making the effort to experience the game are enjoying themselves.
I'm still making my way through the campaign but I can safely say that High Moon Studios deserves some kind of recognition for the game.

Re: Transformers: War For Cybertron
gameplay does get old fairly fast, but the story is pretty good, expecially whne you switch back and forth between the two campaigns to make the story have a cool flashback style storytelling.
and the origin of starscream is epic winz

There is one thing about the story that bugged me, but it still was pretty good.

Re: Transformers: War For Cybertron
What was that then?
I was a little sad about the matrix of leadership, as I thought it was passed from one Prime to another since the dawn of transformers.
I also liked that Megatron seemed a little sore at Optimus for a previous encounter. After all their first meeting didn't go well for him.
Prime really fucked up his day.

Well, two things really, but one is so tiny that it is not even worth the mention.
The one that kinda bugged me is at the part with the core. It said that Cybertron would become inhabitable after the Dark Energon infected it. That part confused me as one, they are robots, and they can survive almost anywhere, even in the harshness of space itself; and two, if this is true, how could the decipticons live on Cybertron then? I mean, even Optimus said they had to evacuate the planet in order to survive.
That is the only real error I see in the story though, so I count that as a good thing.

Re: Transformers: War For Cybertron
Ok this is getting goddamed ridiculious. I can't play with fraking randoms on escaltion anymore, as they're too stupid to live. I need a team of decent people.
Anybody who has the game and would be willing to help I'd apprecate it. Unfortunately my NAT is restricted right now (Bitch all you want, I've done everything in my power to fix it.) which will make joining difficult.

Re: Transformers: War For Cybertron
Tried the game for five seconds in Best Buy... reminded me of Mechassault... I liked it ^^
My only problem was that the graphics gave me a migraine... I felt it was hard to focus on your own character - he kinda blended into the background where I was at.

Re: Transformers: War For Cybertron
Finally got past wave 15 on Escaltion. The X12 Scrapmaker saved my life later on and it's much more cost effective than the ion displacer.
A character with cloaking really helps, as they can backstab and pick up downed teammates.
Oh and on Wave 15 they drop two of those double barrelled tanks which turn into those massive robots from the campaign on top of everything else.
One more thing. IRONHIDE IS FUCKING BEASTLY. I was him and I got all the way to wave 17.
In other news double XP weekend starts on friday 6PM PST.

Re: Transformers: War For Cybertron
Transformers DLC would sure be nice...
Hope Activision doesn't make it like 1200 points again. Wait, who am I kidding, they probably will.
Oh well...
