Yeah, yeah, it's being written by the same guy who wrote an directed the first one.

You're right. I don't know that it's going to be shit. Still, given Hollywood's history at renewing old franchises, I'm not getting my hopes up.

I'm still puzzled by the motive behind the whole thing. WHY would you want to re-make Red Dawn? It makes sense for classic video game maps, or something of the sort, where you're porting it to a new platform, but Film is immortal. Red Dawn is a classic. I wish they'd just leave it alone.
