More people play Runescape than WoW, so that must make it epicsauce.sargentbilco wrote:Nocbl2 wrote:Cuz EvE is space based. WoW is retarded.
no WOW is fantasy and has a very strong universe to back it
in terms of gameplay EVE is worse
and more people play WOW

He's using your logic that since more people play WoW, it must be better than EVE to come to his conclusion that since more people play Runescape than any of them, then it must be the best.

Re: Fallout 3: Mothership Zeta
There have been quite a few people complaining about it but I personally loved it. The environments basically consist of corridor skulking (its a spaceship obviously) with the occasional large room. Overall everything looks quite clean/modern/shiny so its a change from the grungy-ness of the wasteland.
Enemies consist of the aliens which range from regular ones which are pretty weak, to the ones with the weird shimmering energy shields as well as some support robots (melee and the second variant is armed with one of the new weapons, the Drone Cannon). Theres also some weird ass alien zombies called "abominations" which are VERY dangerous to melee characters.
The equipment is pretty nice as you get a nice assortment of energy weapons as well as plenty of ammo for them (easily 2000-3000 without even trying) and even then they arent limited. Theres also samurai armor and a katana from one of the captives (which you have to kill to obtain unfortunately) and a scopeless revolver whos owner you also have to kill to obtain otherwise he disappears forever.
At the end you can use the ship as a sort of homebase thing but the shitty part is that you can only access a few areas of the ship.
Oh and a warning: MAKE SURE YOU GET ALL THE UNIQUE WEAPONS AND ALIEN CAPTIVE RECORDINGS Otherwise you will not be able to get them again.

Depends on what you like as a Fallout player I guess. Try reading some none biased reviews on it or watch a few videos.

Re: Fallout 3: Mothership Zeta
I Love Fallout.
I'm on my 3rd time beating it.
The whole game was very awesome, and the first time i played it, i definitly liked it better than oblivion, but i do wish you could get more than just one mission from everyone, like i wanted to kill people for Allister Tenpenny, or be a slaver for paradise falls.
The ending was awesome too. It sucks that you can't keep playing after it ends though. (i let the blonde bitch die).
I haven't gotten any of the DLC as my family is poor.

When you do get money for DLC, get Broken Steel first.

Yeah, Broken Steel is essential. I remember getting hyped up about it with the other people at the Bethesda forums. Those were the days.

Re: Fallout 3: Mothership Zeta
Didn't like Mothership Zeta. Too linear. I preferred Point Lookout and The Pitt.

Re: Fallout 3: Mothership Zeta
Broken Steel and Point Lookout are far superior to this, but I enjoyed it more than Operation Anchorage which was even more Linear, and the Pitt, which for an entire city seemed rather clostrophobic.

now i loved the pitt because of this reason
i feel the pit had the most character unlike the others such as broken steel (stimpacks hidden in lawnmowers - pure win)(stimpacks hidden in motors - pure win)(body parts attached to a mannequin - pure win)(slaver+raiders - pure win)
HOWEVER i find the ending a bit confusing because is stealing a mans child a good thing to do???

No because the slaves are going to hold it for ransom for freedom when the slaves were using it to cure the disease that turns you into Trogs...and I assume let the slaves go and rebuild the city

Re: Fallout 3: Mothership Zeta
You can get the Alien blaster in the normal Fallout 3, so why sohuld I care that it's in this DLC?
Re: Fallout 3: Mothership Zeta
So what's the verdict?
I'm buying broken steel and one more. I would buy them all but I only have 19 days to play them in. And we all know that's not enough.
