I was just thinking....wouldn't this game have to be drastically different from the last 4?

Raiden is a cyborg Ninja, he's super fast and agile. I mean the guy can take on 4 geckos by himself without even breaking a sweat. Not to mention the original Cyborg Ninja, Grey Fox left a freaking bloodbath of guards who crossed him.

I think the fans would be mad if it was the same style as the others.

I'm pretty sure substance had ninja vr missions. Maybe it's like that.

well it is Lightning Bolt Action instead of Tactical Espionage Action like MGS4.

and the picture was pretty obviously Raiden. I don't remember big boss ever looking anything like that.

this means there was no backstabbing. In all likelyhood, the terms of the contract were rediscussed so that Sony could make an attempt to continue the exclusivity. But microsoft outbid them, and Sony didn't want to front the dollars.


In case you haven't noticed, Microsoft has been spilling hella money getting exclusive titles, short term exclusivity and exclusive DLC.

I highly doubt sony would make an xbox exclusive game, espcially something like Metal Gear.

Its Kojima who is not at all a part of Sony and never has.

Sony wouldn't make ANY games for xbox. The closest thing to it is allowing them to make games for the xbox of Sony licenses (like spiderman)

It was announced for PS3 as well, and Hideo Kojima attended the Press Conference to show off a trailer. It was made pretty clear that the game is still, first and foremost, a PS3 Game.

Still never been a fan of metroid though. The DS one crippled my hands.

lol well this one looks AWESOME. It's more fighter than shooter. And the platforming bits are more the classic metroid feel.
