why "build" a cave when you can just dig, those claws on the aliens need ot have a survival purpose also, not just to rip humans limb from limb.

In my opinion they should be able to dig. Then in the burrow the queen lays eggs or its a place where they drag infectable animals to get face hugged. Then another pit might be where they evolve adaptations like acid blood and such.

But Aliens arent like the zerg or flood they dont exactly "Build" anything, They are bugs and bugs have burrows and webs, since aliens dont exactly make webs that leaves the one option.

Well did instead of another extinction how about the new AVP game coming out in 2010 from Rebellion? It looks amazing and it is supposedly(sp) so violent it might get an AO rating.
