As I'm sure most of you already know... It's a shame about the damn UNSKIPPABLE CUTSCENES.
I already know what happens!

Well, I am now just finishing up the first game, and it's awesome, so I'll probably get Assassin's Creed II.

Re: Assasins Creed 2
I really enjoyed both stories in the game, but the cliff hanger killed me.
The gameplay was cool as well, but it got a little repetitive.
it was an up and down experience, but all in all i enjoyed it.

Re: Assasins Creed 2
There was no problems with Assaisain's Creed gameplay, besides perhaps the epic one-hit-kill counter.
The big problem was the times when Assasain's Creed didn't let you enjoy it's gameplay, i.e. Cutscenes or bad missions.

Re: Assasins Creed 2
A section in game informer made this game look good.
I liked the first one, I just hope it won't be so repetitive like the first. New weapons though, and fighting style. Whole new location too, although the sci-fi part of the story is odd. How does he get back on the Animus?

Huh, I thought it was set in the Renaissance, not the eighties.

As I've said time and time again. I think that game would be up there with the best. I really do love leaping about and didnt even mind the repetitiveness(except for pickpockets). It's just that UNSKIPPABLE CUTSCENES ARE ESCAPED FROM DANTES SEVENTH CIRCLE OF HELL!!
I can't replay that game without a good long book to distract me every hour or so. Thirty minutes before true game play... thirty!!

I think you should calm down...
AC was alright, the story was ok(a little odd I always thought) and the gameplay was meh.
I like jumping from buildings and stabbing people, I like that. What I don't like is when the cutscenes(which are unskippable by the way) that take forever, switching between control types every couple of seconds, getting chased by guards for riding too fast on a horse, being attacked by people and when I fight back, I'm the one who gets in trouble...
Dispite the flaws though, it was alright. I can't see the gameplay trailer(school computer) so I just hope everything is fixed in this one.

Re: Assasins Creed 2
And that every city was virtually the EXACT SAME THING EVERY TIME
I don't mean the same thing like other games where you just shoot people and they get harder as you go.
Assassins Creed you go to one city and blackmail, pickpocket, and kill till you get to the leader, then you kill him.
Next city: Do the EXACT same thing
City after that: DO IT AGAIN
After that one: AGAIN
Guess what your doing in the next one? Thats right, same thing
