XBL gold hands down unless you really like Res evil games.

XBL gold includes all multiplayer(with is good). Res evil 5 is a mediocre game at best

The sheer awesomeness of playing mulitplayer on Halo 2/3, Halo Wars, CoD 4/WaW, GoW 1/2, or EndWar pwns that of single-player RE5 any day.

People complain about paying $50 a year for XBL, but it's completely worth it.

Playstation has free online play, but nothing can compare to the DLC on the XBL Marketplace. I'd gladly pay $50 a year so I could buy extra DLC for games alone not to mention things like the party system, all the free stuff/vids, and Halo. IMO, this is why Xbox trumps PS.

You DEFINITELY want the XBL LIVE. 360 games grow boring REALLY fast without some kind of multiplayer.(I should know, I dont have XBL at all.)
