Who did you want to win?
of the candidates, who did you most want be elected as the newest president of the United States?
My choice is, of course, Ron Paul. Had he won... I cannot even begin to describe how happy I would be on a daily basis. The man is truly inspirational, and I believe his viewpoints are amongst the greatest of any politician.
If only...
I'll put up a pole once we start to get some responses, and see the more significant candidates.
Until then:
Remember, this is the debate section, so if you feel the urge to challenge another's viewpoint, go at it.

Re: Who did you want to win?
Mkay...
As much as I like Ron Paul, I do not agree with some of the issues he stands for, and I do not believe he would be able to cause significant progress in our nation.
I wanted John McCain to win, largely because I saw him as the lesser of two evils. I do not believe Obama's brand of Socialism will help anything. Spreading the wealth, ala Huey Long, will not achieve anything significant other than discouraging people from trying to succeed. Oh, and Obama also wants to spend more than we ever spent in Iraq on 'jump starting' the economy... but where will the money come from?
Well, it's us who are going to end up paying for it.
