This is why you shouldn't remake old horror films. (I just heard there's a remake of Friday the 13th coming very soon, why? It's not needed, leave it alone.)

Friday the 13th is freddy krueger right?
yeah, the old Freddy Krueger actor actualyl supported the remake because the dreamscape was a sequence that could be greatly improved by modern computer graphics.
that being said, motion picture storytelling has gotten very shitty in comparison to those of old. Probably because all the good movie writers have moved to video game writing.

Friday the 13th is Jason Vorhees
Nightmare on Elm street is Freddy Kruger
And the new Friday the 13th movie looks pretty good
though it has Micheal Bay directing....................so there is an explosion somewhere in the movie.
And a new movie for that series IS needed to bring it back from the shitter.
The original movies were good, but did you see the sequels? Jason goes to Hell anyone???

Jason Voorhees is in Friday the 13th, Freddy's Nightmare on Elm street.
Interestingly, Jason didn't appear in the first Friday the 13th Film, it was his mother who was doing the murders, so I don't know who they are going to put him in.
Robert Englund? He's always been Freddy, even in that god awful Freddy Vs. Jason. (Though it was funny to watch Kelly Royland lose her nose

Did anybody watch the Halloween remake? I heard it wasn't too bad compared to the original.
