RAGE
The idea is from 28 Days later
---------------------------
IF YOU ARE UNABLE TO COOPERATE WITH FORUM GAME RULES LOOK NO FURTHER
This is a forum game where there are eight players, 6 Surivors and Two PC RAGE Zombies.
TOTAL OF EIGHT PLAYERS! NO EXCEPTIONS!
The goal of the game is for the survivors to escape and for the zombies to kill the survivors. For the sake of map making made easy the game world will consist of Downtown saginaw, so at least I (the game master) will be familiar with the actual area.
There are some things I need to go over, specifically how you play.
--------------------------
HOW TO PLAY, for survivors
So, you have survived the initial infection, but will you make it to safety? Each player is grouped into a duo, so each player has a companion from the start. To win you must reach the rescue point. Moving is simple.
The moving rules for survivors are 1 space(quarter of a centimeter) per turn while in rough terrain(anything other than yellow or orange)
Survivors can move 2 spaces per turn while on yellow
Survivors can move 4 spaces per turn while on orange
So, why move on rough terran at all? Simple, due to the fact that sight is much greater on yellow and especially orange, it is easier for zombies to spot you(and when one zombie spots you untill all that are within sight are eliminated more come). However, it is also harder to spot any zombies that might be lying in wait for you while in rough terrain and it could be possible to simply stumble upon one.
So what about your sight? Here are the sight rules for survivors
Rough Terrain: 2 Spaces during day, 0 spaces at night
Yellow: 4 spaces during day, 2 at night
Orange: 4 spaces during day, 2 at night
*NOTE, zombie sight is the exact opposite(inverse) of Survivor sight. zombies see better than survivors do at night.
So, you now know how far you can see and move, but what about the day/night cycle that has been hinted at?
Day and night cycle takes up 4 turns, 2 night and 2 day.
For zombies, day means sleep and night means hunting. For survivors day means keep your head down and night means *** hide. There are safehouses located at various points around the map. To enter a safehouse simple means knowing where it is(and being within 4 spaces) before the turn is over and deciding to enter it.
TBC
