alright scratch all posts about a map, ive got civ working on one for me and it will be done within the next week or so, but until then im going to consider if we might start, or just leave it alone for now, PEOPLE DONT BE AFRAID TO POST IDEAS. Im not going to burn you becuase i, or other people might think its dumb

History: The NAC or Nightsaber Allied Coalition Was formed In human space as a subfaction within the human empire. In the colonial age the colonies that would future become the NAC were quick to establish a powerful economic force, while the inner worlds relied heavily on the outer colonies to provide raw materials and supplies the inner colonies focused on limited manufacturing and colony ship build. of course both of these colonies answered to the Human empire witch controled all human colonies with an iron fist for years to come. UNrest quickly spread through many outer worlds and they established independance with help from an advanced alien race, violently, this series of revolutions and conflicts were quickly followed by a full scale interplanetary war, all of witch are refered to as the Scism Wars

During the Scism Wars The NAC became a dominant military group and when The human empire finaly dispanded the NAC took dominant power over the remains. From then on the NAC funtioned as a Republic with power reaching from earth to Trevelia. The NAC During the wars Developed highly advanced spacecraft, production facilities and bio-engineering. While most of its other technological researched have been kept in the dark.


Ship Models:

NAC BattleCarrier: The battlecarrier funtions like an aircraft carrier it mainly houses smaller craft such as Bombers Fighters and light cruisers and frigates. When in combat however the NAC battlecarrier can defend itself with its twin highpowered Guass Cannons. Other defenses include Broadside lightguass weaponry plasma injectors and plasma and antimatter sheilding. The NAC battlecarrier is usualy escorted by two "Hero" class Frigates

NAC "Hades" Class Battlecruiser: The Hades class is the NAC's flagship boasting an antimatter cannon it can rip a hole in anything short of a dreadnaut. Due to its massive size and the sheer power and recources needed to produce a hades battlecruiser they rarely see combat and are only called in when they are truly needed.

NAC "Atlas" Class Heavy Cruiser: The Atlas class like the hades class boasts high level weaponry but is much smaller and cost effective than its heavier conterpart. Atlas classes have a weaker version of the Antimatter Cannon becuase of its reduced reactor size. The atlas also is equiped with Orital bombardment weaponry witch is rare amoung NAC heavy ships. The atlas is much more versetile in both space combat and other mission roles and a few models have been coverted to be used as research Vessels, The "Atlas I" and the "Gia IV"

NAC "Hero" Class Frigate: The Hero class is the NAC's standard combat ship and is deployed in almost every role from colony escort to full scale invasion to special operations. They are equiped with lighter concusion Missile batteries over heavier cannon and antimatter weaponry. The hero class however can also funtion as the NAC's light carrier

The LSF: LSF or Large Space Fight also named the Manticore by pilots is armed with EMP Bolt weaponry for dogfighting. when being implemented into ship to ship combat they are equiped with a heaveir fission battery ordiance for bombing runs. The LSF however cant fly in the atmosphere and is losing ground to both the Archangel Assault transport and the SAAF.

The "Archangel" Assault Transport: This NAC combat transport carries NAC ground troops into combat and can carry light vehicles. Whiles Heavier vehicles need to be dropped in from orbit the Archangel can perform roles as both a transport helicopter, a fighter and in some cases a bomber. Weaponry for the archangel usualy included a single EMP bolt rifle mounted under the cockpit and "Adder" pulse rockets for air to air and air to armor engangements.

The SAAF: is much smaller nimbler than its bulky space counterpart. with twin pairs of EMP bolt rifles mounted on its wings and a pulse jet engine it exells at dogfighting and in space it can be equiped with Antimatter Bombs to be used on enemy light ships. The SAAF unlike the other NAC aerial craft can only seat a pilot and only seats copilot when modified for space combat.

Infantry:

NAC Shocktrooper: Your standard NAC infantryman. They can be anywhere from highly trained leathernecks to green recruits. NAC shocktroopers have the luxury of light power armor and a sealed ventalition system. All NAC armor suits include a personal hud, radio and combat survival gear.

NAC Longshots: These Elite infantryman serve a role as snipers and antimarmor for NAC they are equiped with highpower guass rifles that can hit a target a mile away. these troopers have acid rounds avalible to them to use on infantry while they use DP rounds for antiarmor roles.

NAC Entrencher: The combat entrencher serves an an engineer, they set up defenses repair vehicles recover technology and are called in to diffuse explosives. in most cases they are armed with standard kintetic shotguns and light pulse rifles or SMG's

NAC Indigo Team: Indigo Team is the NAC's ace in the hole, these elite soldiers have turned combat into a sport. Certain Indigo team members have recived genetic therapy and have been infused with altered DNA. Some such troopers have shown an increased physical strength, better agility in combat, Higher stamina and a unique immunity to the Lethal "Shardstorm Virus" witch threatens the NAC to this day.

Mechanized Forces

Constructer: The NAC constructer serves as the main builder of the NAC it can construct most defensive instalations NAC colonial and military buildings and when refitted can build advanced tech buildings like shipyards and interplanetary com stations.

NAC U-TMV: U-TMV stands for unmanned terrestrial mining vehicle. This vehicle is used to mine and harvest recources for NAC military and civil personel on occupied worlds. It is a treaded APC like vehicle that mines with a frontal fusion cutting device then harvests the debris. For farming it is refitted to cut and hold harvested plants. The UTMV also can harvest lumber, Transport water and other liquids and carry NAC combat troops.

NAC U-LAT "Cooker": The ULAT is a miniature unmanned tank used in light combat support and recon roles in cominbation with NAC ground troops. It is equiped with a small Anti-infantry Flamethrower turrent and a .20 cal machine gun.

NAC LRT-62 "Adder": The Adder is a single seat Light recon transport used in anti-infantry and anti-aircraft roles. It's primary weapon is a .50 cal belt fed EMP bolter mounted on its back, while its secondary weapon is its side mounted machinegun. The adder is known to carry anti-tank roadmines for sabotage roles.

NAC Goliath: The Goliath heavy assault transport is equiped to carry both light armor and NAC Infantry into battle. With a heavy armored shell and a 120m frontal cannon the goliath is a force to be reckoned with when deployed in numbers. Its carrying capticity is usualy around 1-2 squads of NAC troops or 1 squad and a U-LAT. The Goliath like most other NAC vehicles has a airtight interior and must take time to unload troops as its magnetic locks need to be powered down. The main disadvantage the Goliath suffers from is its long weapon reload time, its high magnetic profile making it a glowing target for missile and rocket fire and its high fuel consumtion rate.

NAC "David" MBT: The David main battletank gets its name as its often deployed with goliaths and in wargames have been known to counter them effectivly. Unlike the Ulat and Goliath the David is equiped with a high velocity railgun that can fire a round every 9.3 seconds. Underneath the Railgun is a much smaller EMP rotary gun for suppresion purposes. The is Equiped with Sabot and Plasma Resistance armor and is equiped with flare packs along its more lightly armored regions.

NAC "Minotaur" Mech: The Minotaur is a low technology walker used only in rough terrain. It has a vectored thrust system under the main chassis to soften fall damage. The Minotaur is not designed for direct combat but more of an Anti Air role against enemy VTOL aircraft and Starfighters. It is armed with a light 180 degree turning EMP bolter mounted under the main chasis for infantry defense. Its main weapon are its twin missile packs mounted on its arms.

NAC Special Units and "Heros":

Black, Blue and Indigo Teams: (description is in infantry section)

NAC "Ripper" Teams: This NAC squad is used mostly in black ops and ship commandeering. They have received there nickname becuase of the Ripper Heavy Particle Shotgun they use witch can tear a human torso to peices with 2-3 bullets. Ripper teams often are launched off in boarding parties to commander or sabotage enemy fleets or shipyards.

NAC H-MAT C36: The H-MAT also Refered to as Heavy manned Assault Tank. The H-mat is only put to use in large engagments due to its heavy cost and low production rate. The H-mat has combat sheilding and frigate armor making it very hard to kill with conventional weapons. The H-MAT's main weapon is a kinetic velocity antimatter cannon designed to eliminate entire buildings with one shot. The only downside to such heavy armor and weaponry is the H-Mat is very Vulnerable to EMP weapons and is very slow compared to most fast moving NAC vehicles.

NAC Shardkillers (hero unit): The NAC shard killers are troops trained and bioengineered to fight the Shardstorm Virus. They are trained in almost every weapon, vehicle and aircraft. Cybernetic Implants allow Shardkiller officers to have acess to orbital and aerial support on demand via virtual uplink.

NAC Hackers: The Last NAC special Unit the hacker teams can crash enemy technology steal credits and recources and disable and reporgram VI, AI and Robotic Technology.

Equipment: All standard NAC troopers Wear power armor, based on rank and role they are assigned diffrent varients witch best suit their skills. Most troops Carry the Standard 4R-B SRS into combat as a sidearm for a standard weapon most tend to stick with the CX-32 Pulse rifle with a kinetic Bayonette or a Flamethrower Bayonette.

Technology: The NAC has acess to a variety of technology most of witch are developed while some are only used in special operations or on spacecraft.

Coilgun and Railgun and Pulserifle Technology

Plasma Technology

Antimatter and warp technology

NAC Superweapon:

The NAC superweapon is the Greco Class Radiation cannon. The Greco Class Fires an Extreme Intensity Laser beam to overload nearly anything it comes in contact with, Ships, asteriods, comets they are all equaly vulnerable to the heat harnessed in the greco's Promethus cannon. The intensity of energy is the equivilent to a sun slamming into the target every 10 seconds, witch is very very hot. The Greco class is a monstrosity sizewise and can take over a decade to construct. Currently there is only one Greco class in operation and it is undermaintained and highly damaged. As its not cost effective to repair it, its being used as a space station over the NAC capitol world of Derga. Its main cannon is still operational and can fire at any time the order is given.

Government: The NAC government is a Capitalistic Republic Based around a central Council of Core and contributing worlds. In Times of crisis the Council Is Granted the power to Nominate an executive branch to command the military. All laws passed by the council must be approved by the Colonial Social Court before they can take affect, if they violate the Binding Carta the NAC's Constitution they are delcared null and void and are discarded. The council can overrule the Courts vote if an executive branch of the government is present witch is only in wartime.

Recent History: In recent history the NAC is facing a new crisis the Shardstorm virus an infective mutagen has been spread across multiple transport hubs in human space. As the virus spreads the NAC and other factions are called in to quarantine the virus but it is evolving, growing more sentinient the NAC is starting to lose battles on key fronts. The Nightshade war has started and the human race is on the firing line.
