Monster Hunter

Anyone into the Monster Hunter series?


I like it a lot and want to see if anyone else is in on it. Otherwise ima vent on how awesome it is by myself like I did with Dark Souls.

Monster Hunter 4u is absolutely fantastic and should be GOTY.

If you don't at least try it, you're doing a great disservice to yourself.

It's better than Dark Souls IMO and its fun as shit to play with your friends.

Nothing better than slaughtering a monster, making a weapon out of it, and killing more of its brethren with it. ^-^

Just one more reason I wish I bought a WiiU instead...

MH4u is on the 3DS mate


Hell i'm not sure if there is even a Monster Hunter on the wiiU......

Maybe MH3U got ported over, idk.

3u got ported, but the underwater stuff got sucky.

Underwater stuff was sucky to begin with, but I appreciate them trying something new.


Monster Hunter is one of the only franchise that just continually makes improvements and changes to the games every generation and doesn't fuck stuff up(with exception to adding underwater combat, but it was still neat).

Haven't had a Nintendo console since the GBA... not sure if that's for better of for worse sometimes.

the 3ds is pretty nice... even if I use mine mainly to play old NES and SNES games, haha

The one I was borrowing got taken back so now I need to go out and buy one.

If you buy a 3DS make sure its the XL or the NEW XL, the bigger screen size makes all the difference. And somehow has a better battery with that larger screen size. *Magic*

Also watch the GajinHunter videos on youtube. Most informative tutorials for any game i've ever seen.

The GajinHunter taught me that if you don't let go of the third charge with a greatsword then it just has the power of the 2nd charge and about the combo after the charge that lets you do a second even stronger charge.

Those two things changed my entire game.
