Starship Troopers: Invasion

Its actually been reviewed as holding up well to the original, if not better (obviously not the book)

The animation is clean, at least on par with Advent Children.

The original story is too intellectual for the masses.

the closest I've seen to the book was the original Anime... and even then they really fucked up the arachnids by turning them into tentacle shellfish thingies, and they left out the skinnies.
