put the files in

program files > steam > steamapps > STEAMNAMEHERE > garrysmod > garrysmod > addons

That happens sometimes when two addons conflict with each other, you should probably keep the number of addons to a minimum, while relying on your cache to store multiplayer data. Also, some NPC packs don't work with certain versions of your garrysmod.

Put maps in the MAPS folder, put addons in the ADDONS folder. Put gamemodes in the GAMEMODES folder. YOu could have just googled your questions.
