I agree with gay marriage, but i'm getting fucking tired of this non-issue in the presidential campeign, which Obama is obviously going to push since he magically changed sides on the issue in his re-election year. Something that should be a state issue has no reason to be used to garner votes, especially when the president has ABSOLUTELY no control over it.

financial problems are the big issue, and I doubt that even 10% of media election discussion will be about that (basing that on what i've seen so far, which has been almost no coverage of it....)

2. Political discussions are allowed, but don't be an extremist as some don't want to hear about that shit.

I dislike the idea of gay marriage because marriage is inherently an institution of the church. I have no problem with separating marriage and the various government benefits it normally entails and creating a sort of civil union for everyone, of which, marriage is one type.

I believe that gay Marriage is perfectly okay AND I agree with Rot.

Bill of rights prohibits congress from passing any law that affects religious practices, as much as I don't agree with most religion, I agree with the bill of rights.

seperation of church and state means that the state is not allowed to pass legislation that affects the church, not that the church should be kept out of the state.

I'm an athiest and dont nessicarily like that, but government should not have the right to interfere with peoples lives. (this goes for legislation that blocks things like stem cell research and abortions). Federal govenrment shouldn't have control there, those should be state issues and have no reason to be brought up in a presidential race

Uh, no its not. The concept of marriage predates Christianity, Judaism, and Islam. It has nothing to do religion and nothing to do with the church.

So in other words just allowing marriage.... Why bother calling it different? What makes two men/women loving each other any different then a man and a woman? In a country where everyone is equal, why segregate the two? Splitting the two would just promote more hate for the gays, make them "Different". The same thing was done to the blacks in the past...

nobody said they have to call it anything different, they just can't expect to be wed in a church, and if the federal government says that a church MUST wed them then they have broken the first amendment. Thats the end of the argument.

We're working on Friendship De-orbiting Meteor Strikes. Potentially cheaper, if less accurate.

Still in the testing phase. The preparation process is laborous, and as each pony skin can only retain its friendship for thirty minutes after the skinning process, it's not like a stockpile can be maintained.

Plus, wouldn't the meteor 1. disintegrate on impact 2.cause massive collateral?
