If only four or five people out of the entire comic book industry have mastered the art of drawing hands, then it's clearly something that requires dedication.

It does indeed, though it is missing a chain. And a saw.Gauz wrote:What is it?

The saw part is the white that's protruding, and it does look like it's missing a chain, if it's not in motion at least.

Re: Everyday Art - Whatever month it currently is
the perspective is right on the chainsaw
when you ink, however, try to do everything with single fluid lines instead of scratching your lines in. every time you pick up your pen you are laying down a new idea, and every part of the drawing should only have one idea used to portray it
french curves/straitedges help if you can't do them freehand
also, try not to have super sharp corners, things in real life are rounded, especially things that people hold, corners are uncomfterable

People who didn't like manga-style need to not look at this.
And don't mention the narrow neck, I know.

Re: Everyday Art - Whatever month it currently is
its not bad BB
technically its much better than your last one you posted, the anatomy is much more correct and consistant.
thin necks are perfectly fine... things being drawn in a cartoon format only need to understand anatomy, not necessarily FOLLOW anatomy.
again I urge you to push beyond manga art format, but you have shown improvement... so if you don't that isn't awful

Re: Everyday Art - Whatever month it currently is
The stuff I'm posting is a dump of everything I've done between summer and the first one I posted.
It's not going to show any progress from stuff ya'll have suggested.

Private Long Neck
Any advice/comments would be appreciated, especially on the TAIL ones, as she is a character I will be drawing a lot and I would like to make these drawings look as good as I possibly can. I will be using that drawing as the first completed one of her as a reference in the future.
