I for one liked Twilight, but not enough to buy a movie ticket, or even buy the DVD. My family had it and I watched it with them.

I will probably watch New Moon when it comes out on DVD. Maybe rent it. Who knows? I just dont have anything against it.

Fuck that, im not going to suspend my disbelief of a creature that to exist I have already suspended my disbelief just to think this creature is NOTHING like what it has been built up to be for the last several hundred if not thousand years.

I believe that Vampires should only be weakened in sunlight. Not destroyed by it. But w/e, it's your opinion.

I would see New Moon but im not homosexual...... so that sorta ryles out The Twifag series for me

Heh, I've heard it's not even very good. The only reasons I've heard anyone has liked it is either because:

A) Edward is hot (he's the werewolf, right? That's just nasty!)
and
B) It is part of the Twilight series

Otherwise, I've heard NOTHING good about it.

Actually now that I think about it, I have never actually heard anyone talk good about its STORY.


The ONLY thing I have ever heard from it is that it has hot guys as actors, and this is from the girls of course.

Nothing ever mentioned about its actual you know PLOT.

I haven't seen them, but I, I think I am obligated to now.

It's amazing how homophobic and bigoted people are when talking about Twilight. If your idea of a 'good movie' is something that has no emotional or plot depth other than KILLING ZOMBIES or EPIC ROBOT BATTLES, don't go calling people gay or feminine for enjoying Twilight.

It's got a good soundtrack too, although it does seriously fuck up some artists because of the exposure that they get from the movie, and they become shitty sell out artists.

But yeah, I'm probably gonna go see it at the movies.

You need to realise that there's no objective measurement for the 'goodness' of movies, therefore no movie can be bad as such. Sure, a lot of people don't like it, and it's also worth noting that the people who do film reviews are generally older conservative males, but there are still plenty of people that like the movie. Movie critics != teenage girls, nor do they represent my taste in art, or your taste in art.

And anyway, you shouldn't base your expectations of a film on aggregate reviews. Go see the films you think look good, and if they don't live up to your expectations, oh well. You can't judge a movie if you don't see it, so see it and then make proper judgement.
