Veterans Day for us, and in the U.S. it's always just on the 11th, Armistice Day.

In NZ we have ANZAC day.
I wounder how many people know of the ANZACs, most probably nobody else besides the Aussies, Kiwis, Terks and possibly Canadians?
All they ever did that was ever memorable was the Gallipoli Campaign, which was just fucked up due to the Crappy British planning and in particular Winston Churchill. Although TBH it wasn't solely Churchills fault, although he does generally get given most of the blame. It was all just fucked up and a shit load of people died, it was a slaughter for the terks.

Churchill wasn't happy with how the operation went, as he had little control over it. It was one of the mostly costly mistakes as his early career.
Yeah we lost thousands there, British and Austrailian.
