Oh hell yes, Mitch Hedberg is great.
My favourite comedian is probably Ricky Gervais. Or Karl Pilkington.

Re: Favourite comedians
Richard Pryor (IMO best black standup comic of all time)
Louis Black (Maybe I spelled wrong)
Brian Regan
Jeff Dunham
Chris Rock
Dave Chappelle
EDIT: Almost forgot Eddie Murphy in the '80s. My uncle actually did the entire "Hardcore" routine for his college speech class, completely uncensored and in character, and got an A on it.

Yeah, Richard Pyor was awesome.
So was Eddie Murphy, before the early 90's.

Re: Favourite comedians
I'm sure Cheese will hate me for posting this before him... but he introduced me to Bill Bailey, and Bailey has become one of my very favorite comedians.

I don't.... from what I seen he is just vulgar and swears a lot and does that god awful "retard" expression that is unfunny.

Also, I can't believe this wasn't the first thing I posted.... George Carlin is perhaps my favorite comedian of all time.
though he wasn't much of a 'comedian' toward the end of his career.

Re: Favourite comedians
Carlos Mencia has been accused of stealing a whole heap of jokes. And even still, he's not even funny.
Neither is that Gabriel Iglesias. Nothing clever about either of their humour.
But Bill Bailey, he's great in Black Books, never seen his standup. Dylan Moran is also great in Black Books, and his standup is great.
I just don't like American comedy at all, to be honest. American comedy is, for the most part, crude and not really that witty at all, relying on shitty references to immature things, and with no real sophistication at all.
I do like Mitch Hedberg though, he's good.
