Paranormal Activity
This movie is deemed to be the scariest movie this year, and one of the scariest ever.
The movie is not out yet nationally, but if you go to their website you can vote for it to become open nation wide. 936 thousand votes so far, we need 1 million.

Re: Paranormal Activity
Oh... lol
Sorry about that, well, the second trailer on that page was scarier than the one I posted.
Although, the part with the thing crawling up the bed, shat bricks.
I can't wait to see it.

Re: Paranormal Activity
Well, I saw the movie.
I can tell you, I was scared. The only complaints is that I thought the ending was too sudden, and I couldn't tell where the story switched and changed. Otherwise, it was pretty scary. If the movie was fictionally made, it could have been much more scary; however, it is based on "real events".

it was made to feel that way... but the story is completely fictional

Re: Paranormal Activity
god damn mockumentaries making up fake shit. So then at the end, all of that was shit?
Eh, still a good film, even if they lied about "Micah" dying. Oh yeah, this is a spoiler.
I thought the ending was anti-climatic though..

Re: Paranormal Activity
The movie has two alternate endings, both of which sound pretty cool.
- Spoiler:
- 1) Micah runs downstairs after she screams, then silence. She returns upstairs with a knife in-hand and covered in blood. She goes to the fetal position next to her bed and rocks back and fourth. Her friend calls her and leaves a worried voicemail. Soon after her friend arrives at the house and screams, presumably after seeing Micahs dead body. A cop goes up stairs while Katie goes back to normal and in her confusion she advances with the knife, prompting the panicked police to fire on her.
2) Katie comes up the stairs with a knife, and slits her throat in front of the camera.

Eh, I want to see them on DVD before I judge them. The original is anti-climatic, yet still scary as fuck.

Re: Paranormal Activity
Me and my friends(besides two) were laughing the entire movie.
I espcially loved when she said "It could be a trap!" and we all shout "IT'S A TRAP!"

Re: Paranormal Activity
All I know is, that it beat out the new Saw, and it was made for 15K.
It's odviously doing SOMETHING right.

So now we need a poll. I need to know if I should bother seeing this movie or not.

The only Saw movie I own is the original, and that was in boxset anyway.
I have no intention of ever watching V again.
