Sagan is a very smart man and an amazing writer. Too bad he gets so involved in such a controversial issue. He'd get a lot more done elsewhere.

He wasn't terribly against religion. He was mainly upset with it being applied to science, and very much worried about our culture's understanding of pseudo-sciences like Astrology being more prominent than the understand of the real sciences which drives modern day life.

That autotune was good.

The ENTIRE Cosmos series is on Netflix instant watch. I haven't gotten around to watching it all yet, but I think I'll start tonight.
