We aren't whining, we are arguing, just like you are.

But I'm doing it in the thread in which the argument belongs.

Perpetuating it in the ACTUAL ODST threads is what's spawning all these threads.

You're right civ. We all like halo. We all came from halo.

That doesn't mean we need 7 threads, or even 3-4 active threads about ONE game.

We have three primarily active threads about it. I'd only consider one of them unnecessary, the countdown thread. The other two have a ton of information and are in no way spam.

As for the other four, they have been sinking to the bottom for a week now.

yeah, its just a fan pleaser, I really will be astounded if it is anything that approches the first halo, remember, they are more concerned with milking the money cow then creating revolutionary games.

it will probably be the GOW2 to GOW, they will make it too epic, and then release one little game mode that will turn out to be boring after the first few times you play it, (psssss* which is why I would like to see some F#$%@!!! customization already!)

I just... I thought the game looked REALLY COOL from those first CG videos, and I think the drop pod sequence looks great...

but aside from that I don't think it looks all that interesting. Also, the character models are AWFUL! And I've seen the ending....

What's wrong with a crowd pleaser?

The reason Nintendo sucks is because they can't stick with something, they always have to be groundbreaking. If something's not broken, don't fix it.

Besides, ODST is more of a project to keep the fans at bay while Bungie works on Reach, its last Halo game before it moves on. That doesn't mean ODST will be bad, though.

Nintendo only tries to be "innovative" when it comes to controls. When it comes to games, they're perfectly alright with releasing the same successful game over and over again until the series turns into shit.
