Red Faction Guerrilla
Bought it today over prototype
Fun... as... hell
environment destruction is amazing.... you can strategically place charges to bring down buildings... ext... one of the better games i've played in years
the Environment destruction is powered by Geo Mod 2 .... which makes everything being destroyed be destroyed realistically... although simetimes glitches can happen with halarious results (random I-beam flying out of a rock at 300 miles per hour and destroying a building)

Re: Red Faction Guerrilla
Played all day today and yesterday, it is fun
Though some of the buildings stay up in ways scientists are calling "pretty gay"
Like I had this one building staying up by only a pipe. A FUCKING PIPE!!! That does not sound right to me.
Is fun though.

I loved the first one. Tunnelling with rockets around the outside of a map to make a sneaky hole to their flag!

Congrats, just one thing dont ever use the cheats if you want to save your game, it wont let you save till you quit the game(I lost so much data.....) even if you disable the cheats after you activate them it still wont let you save.KristallNacht wrote:I'm renting it today

Re: Red Faction Guerrilla
I've played the demo and watched a few game-play vids, and from what I've seen it has taken most of the things that were good about the original Mercenaries, moved to Mars, and added their own touches.KrAzY wrote:Bought it today over prototype

This is by no means a bad thing; the original Mercenaries was hella-aweseome, and RF:G looks like it will do good things for sandbox games. I love what they've done with the destruction physics, and the sledgehammer is going to be the next crowbar.

I agree about the destruction physics. They are definitely the best I've ever seen in any video game.
