On a more related note, would you (NT) care to explain why "that is nonesense"?

That's just the interface. It would be very difficult to program an interface that interacts with your brain. We're no capable of that just yet.

Jet wrote:I am with NT this is just stupid...
You're focusing too much on how silly she looks with the device on, and maybe that you don't like the interface. Instead, focus on the technology behind it.
A camera that is attached to you takes an image of something you are holding. It finds what product that image came from in its database and can give you information like:
Where to get a better deal on that product
How ecologically friendly the product is
In the case of media or hardware, it could give you the amazon rating of the product. For parents looking at games for their kids, it could give them an extended ESRB rating, or it could show them an article from 'whattheyplay.com' that talks about whether or not the game is suitable for children.
Now imagine if this same technology and infrastructure was put into use in a different way. What if instead of using a webcam, the device received images the same way that your brain does. It could take advantage of your eyesight.
What if all you had to wear was a small necklace that projected images onto surfaces?
What if there was no projector at all, and the image was fed directly to your brain?
You guys aren't seeing the POTENTIAL of this technology. You're dismissing it because she looks silly, and you don't want to wear green fingertips.

Re: Houston, the Awesomeness has landed.
Maybe one day they will make contact lens wich such technology. And you wont have to see bad to wear them. It would be so much easier than writing the test answers on my arm...

I sense danger in this technology. The government could gain access to these networks to see EVERYTHING THAT YOU SEE!!!

Agreed on your last post, and she even mentioned that their still trying to make it look better and make it smaller or whatever. For me, I wouldn't care if I wore the one she was displaying at all. Its BAD ASS

I would gladly let the government see all that I see in exchange for awesome internet sight. I don't see anything cool most of the time anyway.
