Battlezone on XBM

Hey all. Onyx and I were talking yesterday about how awesome it would be to have Battlezone (not the stupid arcade version) on the Xbox Marketplace with multiplayer and whatnot. I was thinking about sending an email into Activision (or maybe Atari) asking them if they could do this, but I doubt they would listen to one person (even though the idea would make them a ton of money for almost no cost).

So, I'm here to ask if any of you would like to help me with sending a few emails in, asking Activision to do so. If they get several people asking for the game, they'll be more likely to do it.

If you want to help, just say so here and I'll tell you when I'm ready to send the emails. I'll also be asking people at the BZU forums to help (though they aren't big consol fans... so I probably wont get much help from them).

If you have no clue what Battlezone is, you can go to Planet Battlezone or download the Battlezone II demo.

Or... I could just give you the actual game. I know where you can download the full original Battlezone game, and I can easily put Battlezone 2 in a zip file (it takes up almost no space at all) and allow you to download it (no disk required). I know it's pirating, but the game is 10 years old and I'm sure 90% of Activision's own employees have never heard of the game.

I just think this game would be awesome to be play online with other people, and with the Xbox controls. So, who's with me?

Was this the PC game where it was sort of like an RTS, but you were on the front lines?

It's an FPS/RTS combo. Try the demo.

Was it the U.S fighting the Russians in space for ancient artifacts. I got through quite a bit of that game

Well... that's the original, yes. There was a sequel, which had more RTS to it than the original. Both are great in my opinion though.
