Re: Rogue One
looks good, I cant wait to see it
I know that after 3/4 years of yearly starwars releases I will get tired of it, but I want to enjoy it as long as I can

Re: Rogue One
I'm sure as hell not getting tired of it.
Ten years without an actual movie (The Clone Wars movie was just the first three episodes of the TV show put together) is more than long enough. As long as they're good, keep em comin

Re: Rogue One
which is what people said when marvel started pumping out stuff and what we all said while halo was in its prime
properties get old and oversaturation is a thing, one a year is a LOT of films. it may not seem it when they trickle out, but when story is being built off of stuff that happened over the course of 20 films or so I know I will be tired of it.

Re: Rogue One
In some ways, the wait for VII made it better. Really, on its own, it'd be an okay movie, but it IS pretty much just a copy of A New Hope. If VII came out right after Episode III, the reception would certainly have been worse (plus people would still be busy hating the prequels).

Re: Rogue One
Yeah. I thought it was pretty good (and we got to see Vader wreck some dudes).
The first act seemed a bit jumpy, and Saw Guerrera felt like he was just kinda shoehorned in.

Re: Rogue One
It was a decent movie.
The first half of the movie is a slog and seems to drag on, but the ending climax is amazing, and I've seen it 3 times because of it.

Re: Rogue One
I liked it a lot, it could have done with a few less characters and I HATED the scene with vader at his lava castle where he told a stupid pun (wtf why???)
the end was pretty good though... I still think that it showed the cracks in disneys film style that will make things fall apart in a few years, 2 new starwars movies that didnt actually bring anything new to the table universe wise, you can only survive on nostalgia for so long
