Happy... New... Year?
So apparently, like me, everyone is recovering from their hangovers. I can't believe I'm making the first thread of 2015.
I would have expected someone else to have posted SOMETHING... Piedude at the very least... that guy has no life

Re: Happy... New... Year?
Fell asleep at 9PM.
Girlfriend made me get up at 11:50.
Went back to sleep at 12:10.
Woke up at 2AM and socialized with party-goers.
Went back to sleep at 3AM.
I'm an old man now.

Re: Happy... New... Year?
To avoid a whole bunch of confusing quasi-pronouns during my story...
I live with four people: Reid, Michael, Steven, and Crystal. Michael has a social life and was partying in the desert on New Year's Eve, and Steven recently had surgery due to alcohol poisoning, and then had a root canal, and spent New Year's Eve drugged out of his mind on painkillers. Now, to the story.
I worked on New Year's Eve, as I did on Christmas Eve this year, until about 5pm. On my way home, I decided to stop at a gas station and pick up large quantities of craft beer so as to ensure that neither Reid nor Crystal would have need to drive anywhere. I bought the following:
24x New Belgium Accumulations (for Reid)
12x Stone Brewing Stone IPA (for Reid)
12x Newcastle Brewing (Heineken) Newcastle Brown Ale (for Reid)
24x Samuel Adams Winter Lager (for Crystal)
12x Band of Brewers (Coors) Third Shift (for Crystal)
12x Four Peaks 8th Street Ale (for Crystal)
12x Four Peaks Kiltlifter (for both)
So I get to the house with $150.00 in craft beer, and get Reid to help me carry all the precious cargo in. After we've carried it in, we do a thorough audit of the fridge, and wind up throwing out about 90% of its non-alcoholic content based on expiration date. Now with sufficient room in the fridge, we begin loading the beer. Crystal comes home to this, and laughingly noted that one of Reid's New Year's resolution was to give up alcohol.
Poor Reid was unable to drink his 54 bottles of beer (plus existing stock in the fridge), and so has since failed his resolution.
