I always write a few chapters of something and then it just sort of rots away on my HDD.

I take offense to that! Just because I only ever write the first couple chapters doesn't mean my name should be a verb for what happens to a story after its author gets overwhelmed and gives up!

Darn it, now I'm going to have to clean diet coke off the keyboard.

I used to write shit all the time. But for the past few years, I've had the desire to write again, but no will. I simply start a few sentences and then just stop. It really feels like I've burnt out and won't be able to do it again, even though the times that I have written were some of the best.

Anyways, good luck for those that still do and especially you, JumpingJet.

Can you talk about the story in general terms? Is it sci-fi or fantasy?

If you can't talk about it, I understand. Best of luck with the contract, and be sure to give us a heads up when you're published.
