Battlefield 3

Anyway they closed down all the servers. Why they didnt open them up to the public i dont know

thats what a lot of people are saying. Operation Metro is not a strong map to represent bf3 with, while Caspian Border is the true BF experience.

Operation Metro shows off all the classes pretty well, the engineer being the only one that doesn't have much to do but blow shit up.

Thats exactly what i think. There were no map glitches on Caspian. People are complaining that it plays like COD. Thats only because of Rush and the map. Conquest is nothing like COD

Well cod sells the most maybe they are trying to attract people with rush mode, which i don't get, personally i would prefer them just do conquest for thier betas so we don't have to pull our hair out playing rush till the 10th

Why not just have Rush on Metro and Conquest on Border?

Seems like that would have been best. But I do agree that the way way the Beta is now, it doesn't properly present and showcase the true BF experience to the newcomers who only play it because of the buzz. Having Caspian Border at the very least would have greatly improved this.

Frankly, I'm too busy being turned off by Origin's poorly-designed bid to be like Steam and EA server down time to have actually had the chance to play the beta. Did they turn off the beta, or was my timing just bad the other day?

its still on. The pc version is managed through battlelog, so when battlelog is doing updates, access to the beta is cut.

as well as being awesome in general, Battlefield 3 also confirms multiplayer in mass effect and another medal of honor game.
