Well worth $179
I recently bought a ticket to a Paul McCartney concert for this Thursday and I realized exactly how lucky I am to see a Beatle that's not ringo.

Re: Well worth $179
you know what I would spend 179 dollars on?
something that would last me more than a single evening and would help me be more productive and/ or buy something that would provide countless hours of enjoyment

Re: Well worth $179
know how you can get the same effect?
buy a CD, listen to it real loud in the middle of a riot
saved yourself 160 bucks, same effect... and this way you might even get a TV out of the deal depending on the response time of the police

Re: Well worth $179
Not that much of a fan to pay 179 bucks...
Even as a Halo fan, I still won't pay for the 100 something amount for the CE cause that is way too much money.

Thats retarded. I would much rather actually SEE the band perform then just listen to a studio version or hell, a live version on a cd or tv. It's not the same thing as actually being there.

Re: Well worth $179
go ahead and waste your money on pointless things then
I don't spend significant amounts of money on something unless I know I am going to get something out of it that could actually HELP me in the future
when you are trying to buy a new car or upgrade your computer, don't come complaining because the parts are too expensive

Re: Well worth $179
I would hardly call standing in a crowd watching a 70 year old singing some songs a "life experiance"
diving with sharks... a life experience
Navigating through a hostile territory to save your friends from a (fake) zombie apocalypse at 2 am armed with naught but a single balled up sock... a life experiance
Graduating high school and college... a life experience
listening to songs you've heard before... sung by a guy way past his prime... for 180 bucks? a rip off

Re: Well worth $179
I have to say unless they come up with a way to clone the beatles and bring back the band id much rather spend my money on another concert of a group that is actualy alive but until they clone the beatles i just have to stick with cds and the internet to listen to classic beatle songs

Re: Well worth $179
...
I''m sorry Krazy but I really disagree with you here. $179 is a lot of money for a ticket to a concert. But like Avenged said. It's Paul MaCartney. When is he going to get another chance to see him? I know If I had the chance I would go. Sure.
Paying money like that for shows is a little much, but when it's someone like that who has a great chance at not touring again, then it's way worth it. But like Avenged said, you gotta be a Beatles fan. Nay! You gotta be a Music fan. Like me. I'll be going to my 2nd show on Sept. 24th and my third on Oct. 8th.
When your as much as a music fan me and I assume Avenged, stuff like this is what makes the $ not even an issue. That's just how I feel though.
It's not just a night out, it's a passion.
