Re: Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood.
I can't speak for Brotherhood MP in its current state, but it was clear during the e3 presentation that it wasn't about going apeshit, because the one employee who was part of the live demo always beat out all of the people who lined up to give the multiplayer a try. Hell, only the subtle, patient people ever even killed the bugger. I don't know if they've changed it, but as of e3, if you did anything suspicious, your target was made aware that you were hunting them.

i think the Hologram gives a name over it now. and in certain gametypes the red name over your own head is disabled. That aside it is still a good weapon for tricking DMR happy little kids as they will waste half a clip on it before they realize it's a fake.
nope. I was stalking a guy and he shot his hologram out to check the area i was in. I just started taunting him about how his hologram can't fool me.

Re: Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood.
I might be thinking about the red Crossair, However since most people who use hologram usually just stand and wait for a few seconds, the second i see their hologram i pop out and throw a plasma where the guy should be standing, its Hilarious.

Re: Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood.
No, your name will not hover over your head when you're in the multiplayer. You will appear as an NPC in the multiplayer, to your enemies that is. I'm only assuming this howerver, because, in an interview they said there is a button used to "blend". I dont think they'd make said button and then make it so you're given away by your gamertag.

Re: Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood.
i think that makes you walk around as a villager, not just turn off the name above your head.
I mean if i saw a Harlequin running at me with a damn dagger i think it's pretty obvious there gonna try and freakin kill me, name or not.

I'm also pretty sure you'll be penalized if you go around doing "assasin-checks" on everyone in your line-of-sight

Re: Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood.
I would note that, at least in the e3 build of multiplayer, there are no villagers. All NPCs are also player models.
Re: Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood.
well the player models are based on the ACII 'villagers' anyway. There were very few legit personality lacking npcs

That's in most every game though so I'm not too surprised when you say this.KristallNacht wrote:well the player models are based on the ACII 'villagers' anyway. There were very few legit personality lacking npcs

Re: Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood.
That sucks.
If it makes you feel any better, I won't be getting it until I finish off the first and second one, in others words, not until another year or so >.>

Re: Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood.
Question to those who own it, can multiplayer be played splitscreen?
Re: Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood.
i shall look at box now
no,
but i also feel that almost entirely destroys the fun in playing the multiplayer

Would make it too easy to pick out people. Whether you were stalking your splitscree partner or another online person.

Re: Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood.
the multiplayer is extremely awesome btw.
its really well balanced to enforce stealth. Like the game will point out the person hunting you if they're not being stealthy.
