I would note that there is a full single player campaign and a completely separate full coop campaign. According to my brief discussion with Doug Lombardi, the coop campaign will be much more complex, since there will be four portals involved.

I also really like the movements of the machines. Valve managed to make them feel unnatural but still very fluid. You can tell that it is a machine, and not a living thing, making the movements, but this is achieved without the broken stop and go of most robots.

Portal 2 doesn't come out for practically another year. Buy L4D2. Or Naughty Bear. I will forgive you if you buy Naughty Bear and not L4D2.

That's relatively old news. Doug Lombardi revealed that Portal 2 would feature cross-platform play between PC/Mac and PS3 back at E3 last June.

There's just a little problem with the Mac/PS3 cross-platform idea...

Fewer people have PS3s than 360s and PC gaming is quickly dying (especially in the first-person generas). It would not surprise me at all if XBL still had more players than PC and PS3 combined.

well, the 360 cross platform requirement is windows live, which is more retarded.

Not to mention that Microsoft basically told Valve to blow it out their ass when they approached them about cross platform multiplayer. I doubt Newell wants to rely on the PS3 for his big mechanics.

Civ, I don't really think that PC gaming is dying. From all I've seen, it seems to be growing.
