Re: Of the Willing
Well, I rushed it. I will revise it in a little bit.
Btw Death, MW2 had many references in it to Red Dawn, so similarities COULD happen

But for now, vehicles, troops and munitions/supplies will arrive via airdrop or airports.
And for readers that have been waiting, the next chapter will be out tomorrow. Expect somewhere rainy as the setting....

Re: Of the Willing
Chapter Two
Seattle, Washington
1989, June
"Hunter with a Weapon"
Sunlight came through the speckless windows of the bar/diner. It was around nine in the morning, but still people were in there, ordering breakfast and morning mind clearers. Sitting at the counter on a soft-seat bar stool, Joe Lancasher brought his coffee mug to his mouth and sipped on the warm, steaming beverage. He sat the cup down and ate some of his omelet. The pretty red-headed waitress with hair like fire walked up to Joe and instead of asking him something, she asked the man that just sat down next to Joe and asked him what he wanted. Joe looked to his right and saw the person. It was a guy he knew pretty well.
"Just coffee, ma'am. Also could you please turn the T.V. on?" He said to her with a grim expression.
His name was Keith Hickerson. Hime and Joe were pals since middle school. Joe would sometimes go hunting with him when he could. They would talk and joke about the times and things happening in their lives. His wife had left him a few years back, met some other guy and moved with him to Pennsylvania. Keith nor Joe liked the guy. Keith was hit hard by that. He still loved her a lot.
"Keith, how are you man?" Joe said before he drew another sip of coffee.
"Man, have you checked the news? My ex-wife is in danger!" He said, an angered expression now on his face.
'Danger?' Joe thought. 'What danger could she be in?'
The red-head turned around and grabbed the coffee jug and handed Keith a mug. She poured the coffee in, filling the cup with its brown color and awakening aroma. She sat the jug down and walked over to the T.V. She was too short to reach the button from the ground. She sighed and went back into the kitchen, looking for a stool. Keith shifted in his seat and took a gulp out of the cup. The door smacked back and forth as the waitress walked out with a stool and placed it under the TV. She reached up and clicked it on. The screen blinked and the picture was shown.
"Danger?"
His eyes darted back and forth, out of view he was looking and then back at the camera. It appeared like he was being forced to read something; Something he didn't believe.
"...If you haven't heard already, then brace yourselves. The United States of America....is under attack from the Soviet Union. Early reports state the Russians have landed in the Northeast, Southeast, Midwest, and are now headed for a possible attack on the North-"
The TV was cut off as a boom from outside took the power out of commision in the diner. Another boom was heard, followed by another and another. People screamed in panic and fear. A few adruptly got up and dashed outside. Joe was thinking the same thing. He tossed a few dollars on the counter and jogged outside with Keith.
Automatic gunfire was heard a little ways down the road and a building suddenly collapsed, spewing debris over the road. He turned to his left where civilians were sprinting away.
An explosion erupted down the otherside of the road. Keith and Joe were thrown back. Blackness filled their vision.

There are a few spelling errors you should take care of, but nothing major.
