Try reading "Physics of the Impossible". It explains that faster than light travel would be possible for an extremely advanced civilization. Not to mention that we have several ideas for methods of propulsion that would allow us to reach the nearest solar system within 8 years.

I have yet to see anything remotely convincing about ghosts. It's your mind playing tricks.

every ghost hunters show i've watched has been ridiculously inconclusive.

I have to agree with NT, the entire concept of ghosts seems to have come out of someone's ass and has been kept alive by nothing else than the unparrallelled stupidity of the masses.

The entire concept of a soul is that it is your body's counterpart existing in a parallel dimension, obviously it does not physically exist on the Earth. Therefore we can conclude that if people have souls/spirits then they would exist in a place that we cannot describe using our concept of existence and also has no means of physically interacting with the inhabitants of this dimension.

If you didn't get that, I pretty much said it was bullshit.

I hear a "persistent and invasive low-frequency humming noise not audible to all people" all the time (to be fair, it isn't as low pitched as the article describes, as in, not as low pitched as something like a diesel engine idling, but definitely lower and louder than that annoying high-frequency noise all electronics devices make when on). I'd heard of the Taos Hum and other "Hums," but I didn't realize it was such a popular unexplained phenomena.

I disagree, when i was a kid I felt something grab my foot when i was underneath the covers. It scared the shit out of me, I dont know if it was a dream or not, it felt so real.
