Halo 3
For some odd reason I couldn't find a Halo 3 thread, so I made one. The only reason I decided to do this is because Bungie just released the public beta for Halo 3's Render to Video option. Click here for the full story.

Machinima creators.....
hell, Bungie Pro is fuckign hella cheap...so whats it matter?
i'd probably pay for it, if it meant they'd render the stuff in HD so i don't have to bother with a capture card.
more the problem is the fact that all the newbies that don't know shit are gonna use this to make shitty machinima

Um, me. I payed for my Bungie Pro subscription (unlike most people).Ukurse wrote:All I have to say is:

Yes, it is.CivBase wrote:Is this that BuTube... or something like that?
Exactly, but I have a capture card and Pinnacle Studio, so I pretty much just wanted to have the ability to view videos on Bungie.net so I don't have to download them because somebody was to lazy to go buy a capture card and slap it on YouTube.KristallNacht wrote:Ukurse wrote:All I have to say is:

Re: Halo 3
I was thinking that anyone who actually was going to pay to make Machinima would just buy a capture card.KristallNacht wrote:Ukurse wrote:All I have to say is:

that way they don't need to pay every time they need to make a video, plus it can be used on any 360 game, (Probably even PS3 games aswell, But I don't know, you might need a different Capture Card) And also I was told there are websties that do this and are free.
But regardless there will be people who will pay for this, no matter how overly priced the Bungie Points are.
PS: Prepare for the mass unsubscriptions of Machinima on Youtube.

Re: Halo 3
Dude, Machinima's youtube channel screens all of the Machinima.com content, it doesn't just repost it.
and its not a 'pay per use' type thing, its an easily affordable yearly thing.

I must say, this is the least informative and most bizarre of all the Halo 3 discussions I've ever encountered....
But not that it isnt equipped with its fair share of amusement.

Yeah but still.. I mean we all paid £30/$50 for the game, so you would have thought being the largest grossing computer game ever, that they could afford some bonuses to players.

Bungie has a notoriously bad customer support, and considering they made a fucking shit load of money of making the Halo franchise you think they could have atleast update Bungie favs more than a every few weeks, instead of making it pretty much dictated by the community, totally defying the name "Bungie Favs."
They should learn a leason or two from Valve.
They make a very popular game (HL) and they don't try to rip us off just because they know everyone will stay faithful. They make a lot of awesome deals for the customers. The Orange Box was ground breaking, and all DLC for TF2 is completely free.

Well, a while back we had ALOT of discussions regarding physics of halo, could a plasma rifle destroy a a sandbag wall, what would happen if a MAC hit a planet, etc.Etsharrin Hopsarrith wrote:I must say, this is the least informative and most bizarre of all the Halo 3 discussions I've ever encountered....

I thought it had been determined that a mass of that size and density moving at that velocity would, if not destroy the planet, cause massive geological and atmospherical damage?
