Ok, just to clear some things up about Napoleon.

Napoleon had a spotless record. He fought more battles than Alexander, Caesar, Peter, and Fredrick combined. It is important to remember that he never lost.

Yes, after he beat the russians the winter defeated him. Please enlighten me, who in the history of the Earth, has ever successfully marched on Moscow?

After he escaped and took control of the French army, he defeated the Prussians with equal numbers and then almost beat the British with equal numbers (if it had not been for the impulsiveness of his commanders) while he had a stomach virus that would have had him in the hospital in modern times.

Yes the French suck, but Napoleon was a military genius. Students that attend Westpoint are taught french for the sole purpose that they can study the work of Napoleon, to this very day.

if the ESA (or whatever) catchs you pirating 3 materials and properly reports it to your IP, your internet will be disconnected.

Who on this forum would know better than the guy that's already got 1?

I vote yes for this system. Will it work in the long run? no, but it will hopefully teach the world some lessons about copyright protection legislation, and help us eventually work towards regulating this stuff.

@NT, that's not a law though. It's only ISP standard policy.

so, in america, where companys bend over for legal status, unlike in other countries where they stand up for rights, does that really matter?

It's still standard practice. So a law isn't gonna change anything.

In what other countries do they stand up for consumer rights? It's all about making money NT. Some ISPs want to secure themselves from legal issues with media industries, while others want to keep piracy happening so they can earn a buck off of bandwidth caps.
